About the artist
Suzane Beaubrun in and Oakland artist focusing on jewelry and multi-media sculpture. In admiration for the concept of up-cycling, she transforms common discarded materials into art to wear and treasure. In addition to working with found and recycled materials, Suzane engages in more traditional metal smithing techniques. Works often include intricate examples of hand piercing and sawing, crocheting and weaving fine silver or color coated wire. Her work is an eclectic exploration of texture, color and form.
In addition to creating Suzane regularly curates exhibitions and serves on the boards of the following galleries :
